Fire at JKIA International Airport in Nairobi. What has Kenya to loose?

It is yet another month of August which has spelt alot of doom in the recent past for Kenya. But we may just link this month to be a doomsday month for the world. I predict that before the end of this month of August they will be yet another tragedy the world is going to see pass. Although the JKIA burning is purely not tragic  as no one perished or was injured but the ramifications of that fire will have far reaching impacts that will ripple through the economic platform for months and years to come.
The business community is already shaken by this misfortune and word is ripe with the hope that there will be  a speedy quick-fix and resumption of normal operations at the airport.
I was jocking on Twitter that fortunes can literary change overnight and indeed we are seeing a shift of fortunes. Atlhough on the first day the effect may not be as such material but in the long run we shall start seeing these same effects.
Hotels in the big city of Nairobi had already made reservations for travellers whom being loyal to the hotel had made bookings in advance (I assume) while at the same time the bookings were cancelled not only for the travellers who were already enroute but also those travellers who may have had a panic spree from the spread and show of the fire by the international media. Conversely this is the high season when most tourists are comming to East Africa especially Kenya and Tanzania on safari trips. I would certainly say that majority of the trips to land in Kenya have either being cancelled or diverted to Dar-Es-salaam. The biggest loosers are the Hotels, Tour and Taxi Operators while the greatest winners of this calamity are the hotels and tour operators of Tanzania and Mombasa where the airports were receiving the stranded flights.
This opens and new begining and a lesson learnt to the business that heavily rely on tourism or rather who rely on these travellers to make a living. The lesson being that they either need to expand regionally, create mergers or even go into partnerships with others in the same industry in the region. This way these businesses may be able to cushion themselves against such huge drastic losses that occure overnight.
On the other hand the government needs to come out clear and swiftly of the cause of the fire. This way the should expeditiously and strategically come up with solutions to avert such a crisis in the future. This is the only way to restore the confidence that has been associated with JKIA as the best Airport in the reagion.

Plausible Indespensability

I guess it is absurd that sometimes we believe that we are indispensable. That is the theory of survival and the whole essence of independence. I would not want to divulge a lot of information especially through here but in clear words, it is true that we are all human beings that depend on each other and lest there be a vacuum it is filled almost immediately. We don't all live the same, but we choose the lifestyle we are identified with. If you choose to be a miser, you will always be and if you choose to be a giver you will always be generous.

Show me the way

I see the games they play
I hear the lies they say
I see the tears they cry
I see their ruins inside
I see inside to the guilt of pain
I see the scars that another did give
I know on the outside they still look the same
But I see in their eyes that they don't want to live

 Who can explain it?
Who can contest that the world that we live in is one hellish mess?

Give me the tools
Show me the way
Give me strength to reach out and the right words to say
I cannot pretend that the cries are not there
More pain than I can bear
I cannot hide
Show me the way

I see their guilt-ridden eyes
I see they tell themselves lies
I see the hate that is brewed
I see the wreckage construed
But I see through the walls and I see through the hate
I see to the heart where the pain is so great
I see it all,
And I don't understand

 Who can explain it?
Who can contest that the world that we live in is one hellish mess?

Love and Marriage

Love and Marriage

Love is holding hands in the street.
Marriage is holding arguments in the street.

Love is cuddling on a sofa.
Marriage is one of them sleeping on a sofa.

Love is talking about having children.
Marriage is talking about getting away from children.

Love is going to bed early.
Marriage is going to sleep early.

Love is losing your appetite.
Marriage is losing your figure.

Love is sweet nothing in the ear.
Marriage is sweet nothing in the bank.

Tv has no place in love.
Marriage is a fight for remote control.

Love is 1 drink and 2 straws.
Marriage is "Don't you think you've had enough!".

Conclusion:
"Love is blind,
Marriage is an eye opener!"

Let us fight

Let us fight
Let us put our strengths to the test
Let us allow our individual devils to come out and prove who is stronger and wittier.
Let us allow our personalities to show off.
Let us remind the gods that they didn’t give us muscle for modeling,
Let us get drunk with adrenaline.
Let us set the boundaries.
Let us cross over to the stone age where fighting was the norm.
Let us draw our daggers and aim them at each other.
Let us forget that the barbarians were primitive and adopt their ways.
Let as seek revenge as sweet as it will be and as bitter as loss can be.
Let us throw stones at each other and hit each other with perception.
Let us draw each others blood and forget that they are the same color.
Let us be animals and prove nature right that we are truly but a species on this Earth.

We draw our daggers and cut the air towards each other.
We miss and repeat it over and over until both daggers are displaced from our hands.
We clutch our fists as if they are our natural clubs.
Weapons that are like an arsenal of destruction.
We hit at each other with precision.
We hit each other and the pain is excruciating.
We are covered in blood and bruises all over.
We throw each other at the ground.
We drug each other and scrap the skins of each other as if we are both dead.
In-turns.
We spit on each other and realize that our creator added a natural blade to our arsenal. We gnash our teeth showing the white blade in terror, thriller and fiercely look for the softest part of each others flesh.
We sink our teeth with the power of the hyenas jaws.
We tear off each others flesh, ripping out the mass of cells in a red mess.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwh.
The adrenaline begins to wear from our endocrine system.
The pain sinks in. We feel the pain and ooooooooh my god………
The pain is excruciating.
The pain is growing like a gnawing sound.
The eery of the site of each others blood.
The mess of the bruises and the torn up clothes.
The litter on the ground.
The clotted blood messy on the ground.
The sight of our mess.
The feel of our bruises, our wounds, our pain.
The taste of blood in my mouth.
The cold chill aftermath of adrenaline. Gives me the creeps.
That is the sign of stupidity.
The sign of illiteracy,
The sign of hate, the sign of evil,
The sign of stupidity.
The sign of sin.

Let us leave you to think……………..

Leave me alone

Leave me with my plight of failing
To find space to build shelter
Leave me alone with my plight of failing
to secure a tract of land to plant food
I know Lord that if i do not get these
I shall find repose under your arms
That is why I implore you Lord not to give me peace
For if you give me all of these,
You shall have forsaken me to damnation.

My amazement

You amaze me God
If I step on a puff adder it bites me
If I disturb a bee it stings me
If I provoke a wasp it does not take it lightly
If a snake comes near me I kill it
If an ant stings, it bids farewell to the earth
But when we bite you
You do not wipe us off
You do not crush us
You exculpate us when we bite you
You also nurse all our wounds
Which we inflict ourselves when we bite you
You amaze me God, you amaze me
If I were you I would destroy the world
